WE'RE EXPECTING!

We took a standard pregnancy test on October 10, 2003!  We got 1 strong line and one "maybe" second line.  I didn't like those, odds, so I bought one of the "NEW" digital tests.  Our result:  PREGNANT.  Oh my goodness!  We're pregnant!  Holy Cow!!!!!!!!  As we figured, our due date would be June 7, 2004.

Mommy's reaction:  Oh my God, we're having a baby! Daddy's reaction:  Oh my God, we're having a baby!

Maternal Grandma-to-be:  Penny Cooper.  Her reaction:  I'm going to be a Grandma! Paternal Grandma-to-be:  Judith Roman.  Her reaction:  Oh my God!  Oh my God!  It's about time!

My OB-GYN is Shelly Messer.  I will deliver at Banner Baywood, in Mesa, AZ

First Ultrasound:  January 13, 2004.      Results:  Baby Boy!!  99.9% Boy!  He weighs in at 10 healthy ounces.  While the ultrasound was being performed, he yawned and hiccuped.  Everything looks healthy.  Strong heart, all organs are OK!

JOURNAL:

Week 13, Date:  12-5-03. We heard our little angels heartbeat.  A strong 140 bpm.  It was so loud!

Week 14, Date:  12-10-03 Finally got sick.  I've been having dry heaves, but today something finally came up.  Yucky!

Week 19, Date:  1-13-04 Had our ultrasound!  We're having a BOY!  Christian Lee weighed in at 10oz (3oz more than normal).  Big Boy!  Christian hiccuped and yawned on the ultrasound!  So cute!  We received 8 picutures of our handsome boy!

Week 19, Date:  1-15-04 Christian kicked me today!  Then he wouldn't stop!  He kicked all night long!  It felt so funny, but awesome!

Week 21, Date:  1-25-04 Last night Christian kept kicking me.  I'd wake up to get more comfy and he just started kicking me.  And the little turkey wouldn't stop!  He just kept beating on my tummy.  It was cool but I was trying to sleep, little brat!  :)

Week 24, Date 2-15-04. We had the baby!  Christian was born Feburary 15, 2004 at 3:06am.  1lb 6oz 11" long.

I was 5 mos pregnant here, shortly after I should have taken the next picture was when Christian was born.  I didn't get much bigger than this.  The day before I went into labor was the day when tucking my shirt into my pants finally got uncomfortable.
