NOVEMBER 2006

November 20:  Well, Christian started at a new school today.  The school he was attending, Desert Voices, is an "Oral" school.  They are against sign language.  Well, Christian was learning sign language and we wanted him to continue.  The sign actually started to bring on his speech.  So, we decided that a "Total Communication" program would be best for him.  They teach both sign and speech.  Christian did very well at school.  In the class, it is him and 2 girls.  There is a teach and a teachers assistant, so they each get a lot of attention!  I went into the classroom on November 14th to see what it is about.  It looks like a very positive learning environment!  We are both hoping Christian will do well.

November 23:  HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!  Today is Thanksgiving!  I had to work in the morning and Edwin will have to work later today.  My mother in law prepared most of the food and it was very good.  Christian didn't eat a lot.  Not sure why!  I guess he's just like that!  Edwin and I made the announcement that we're having a boy!  Gabriel Thomas will be his name.  I called my mom and told her as well.  She's excited.  Gabriel has his own page, so I won't go into much detail.

November 29:  I've been working with Christian signing "baby" and he just signed it and pointed to my belly!  Oh boy!  This is so awesome!!
