MARCH 2008
As we are fast approaching Gabe's first birthday, I wanted to state some differences in my boys, there are a FEW!
Christian:  Slept through the night the first day home from the hospital (he was 4 months old)
Gabe:  STILL isn't sleeping through the night!

Christian:  Loves shoes!
Gabe:  Still adjusting!  Really doesn't like them, though.

Christian:  Teething semi-early, considering he was a preemie
Gabe:  Still gumming it!

Christian:  Always happy
Gabe:  Mostly happy!

Christian:  Loves Daddy
Gabe:  Loves Mommy (I think it's the breastfeeding bonding!)

Christian:  Received only formula
Gabe:  Still going strong with breastfeeding-not 1 drop of formula!!!
March 25th:  We have official steps!  Only 2, but I'm counting them!  I'm sure there are MANY more to come!!!!
March 26th:  Well, Gabe and I had a trip to the ER on the 26th!  Gabe was acting very tired and not drinking a whole lot.  He was throwing up and just not acting like himself.  So, I decided (after a call to the nurse line) to take him to the ER.  Well, we went home around 4apm on Gabe's birthday, the 27th.  Poor baby!!!!  He was a little dehydrated, but all the tests came back "OK".  So, we were able to go home after he spent about 1 1/2 hours on an IV.  He seemed better, so I was fine with going home.
March 28th:  Back to the hospital we went!  Gabe was acting "off" again.  He was having Hershey squirts and some throwing up.  Still acting tired, so I took him in around 2:30pm.  I wasn't expecting anything more than we had already gone through.  However, at about 8pm, they decided to admit him.  I was surprised, as I thought he was doing better.  They took us back to a curtained room while we waited for a bed to be ready.  My good friend, Caitlyn, had to bring me food from McDonalds because I hadn't eaten anything almost all day!  Once the room was ready, they took us up.  I went home to get some things and got back around 10:30pm.

Long story short, we got to go home Monday, the 31st after I got off work.  The hospital took great care of Gabe.  If I left, then they had someone come in to play with him until I returned!!!  They even brought me meals, which I wasn't expecting!!!  They had little cars and wagons to take him on a little walk around the wing.  He really liked that!!

After he came home, things were much better.  BUT, because he spent so much 1-on-1 time with Mama, he was a little turkey for Shannen, his babysitter, for about 3 weeks!!!  Silly boy!!!

They couldn't really find anything wrong with him, other than he had a slight bug.
