January 9: I told Christian "I love you" and he blew me a kiss back! Seems he's understanding more than we think!!! He also did his first sign: "Eat". We were in Walmart and I had bought a sundae and he signed "eat" and pointed to my ice cream!! Yeah!!!!
January 23: You won't believe this! I just won a trip to Hawaii! Not one of those "if you buy this" or "if you sit through this 48 hour program of ours" but I won a contest I had entered! I won a trip for 4 people, 6 nights, 7 days!!! We get to go to any of the islands and we can travel anytime in 2006! Edwin didn't believe it at first!!! I asked my Mother in Law (she said no), my mom (she said yes) and my friend Caitlyn (she said yes). After talking with the travel agent, we'll be able to bring 5 people and get 2 hotel rooms (we choose a mid-class hotel and since we live on the west coast, air is cheaper). We'll go in July, which will be Edwin and my 4th wedding anniversary! Yeah!!!
January 25: As Christian and I were leaving Desert Voices, his school, he got twisted around and fell face-first on the sidewalk. I took him to Urgent Care. They think he may have a concussion, we have to watch him. He's acting fine, though!!
