Christian wanted to hold Gabriel.  Then, he didn't want to let him go!  Notice his arms wrapped around him in the first picture?  He sure loves his little brother!

Gabriel giving mama a gummy smile (still no teeth!).  I practically had to rip him from Christians hands to get pictures of him by himself.  Then, Christian stood right beside me watching what I was doing, making sure I wasn't hurting Gabriel!  OIY!

I'm pretty sure Christian beat himself up just before I took these pictures!  He has bruises everywhere and a red mark on his nose!  I was holding Gabriel while I took this picture and Christian was about ready to jump down of the couch and "rescue" Gabriel from Mama!  Hehe!  Silly boy!

Isn't this kid just too cute?  He is just adorable!  What a good little baby, too!  He's a fantastic addition to our family and I really believe we'd be lost without him!

December 15:  Gabe is upto 17lbs!  He's already getting into everything.  My lil boy is growing much too fast!!  Christian is working on potty training, again.  It seems to be going better than the last time!  Hopefully this is the one! December 25:  Christian is doing much better potty training.  He just goes like 15 times a day!  Anything for a Skittle!  But, whatever it takes!!!

Dear Friends and Family                                                                                       December 19th, 2007      Wow, 2007 is already almost over!  And what a year it's been for us!  I think our most exciting news is the birth of Gabriel Thomas Flores.  He was born on March 27th, 2007 at 10:18pm.  He weighed 6lbs and was 19 1/2 inches long.  I'm happy to report that he was born full term, at 37 weeks days.  He even came home from the hospital with me!  It was so very exciting!!  He's growing big and strong, at almost 9 months, he weighs about 18 pounds!  I like to call him my "fat baby" because he has so many rolls, especially compared to Christian!      Speaking of Christian, he's doing wonderful!  His speech is really coming along!  He still attends preschool for the deaf/hard of hearing kids and is finally making real progress!  It's been a very slow road for us!  His newest words are "come on" (if we are taking too long) and "outside".  He just loves to go outside!  Even when it's a "chilly" 65 degrees!  He also adores his brother and can say "Gabriel".  It's a little slurred, so Gabriel hasn't figured out that Christian is calling him.  Christian LOVES his brother!  He loves to feed him, help change his diaper, get toys for him and I have to take pity on the poor soul who would try to hurt Gabriel in front of Christian!  WOWZA!  It's amazing how much Christian takes care of Gabriel, always wanting to hug and hold him.  It's so wonderful!!!!!      Edwin is still working on getting into the Department of Corrections as a Correction Officer.  It's a very long process, for some reason.  He's finally done with all of his steps, but of course, now they have a hiring freeze!  So, looks like it will be awhile before he gets in there!      This fall, I accepted the Front Desk Manager position at the Best Western Dobson Ranch Inn.  It's a 213 room hotel.  It's my first time being a manager, even though I have my degree in it.  I really like working there.  The staff is so friendly and it's a great place to work!  Now, I have to work on being promoted, hehe!      We still haven't bought our house yet.  Our lease is up in March and we can no longer stand our apartment!  The staff is horrible, so we WILL be moving in March, even if only to another apartment-we'll keep you posted!      Well, that is our family life of 2007 in a nutshell!  I hope that everyone had as wonderful a year as we've had!  We wish you the best for 2008!
