DECEMBER 2006

December 3:  Well, Christian has really been throwing some tantrums lately!  He bangs his head when he's made or frustrated, which is a lot of the time.  We've tried stopping him, we've tried ignoring him, nothing seems to help.  He'll bang his head on anything, the couch, the carpet, the walls, sidewalks, just whatever is easy for him to get too.  It's so frustrating not knowing what to do to help him!!

Dear Friends and Family,                                                                                       December 10, 2006      Well, another year has passed.  What a wonderful year for our family!  Christian celebrated his second birthday in February.  I won a trip to San Diego, which we enjoyed in April.  I won a trip to Hawaii, in which we had a blast in July.  Edwin and I celebrated 4 years of marriage while we were in Hawaii.  The best news?  We're pregnant!  We're having a boy!  His name will be Gabriel Thomas and he should make his arrival in April of 2007!  We are all very excited about our newest addition-to-be!  We just don't want this kiddo to make an early entrance like his big brother!  I'm under the watchful of eye of a perinatologist (high risk doctor).      Christians hearing is improving everyday.  He's now attending a school that teaches sign and speech.  He can already sign "baby" and he'll point to mommy's tummy!  It's the cutest thing!  Edwin and I are very proud of Christian and the progress he's making daily!  His speech is really coming along!  He tries to imitate almost every word that you speak to him.  He will also imitate almost every sign!      Well, that's our update for now!  We wish you all a safe and Happy Christmas and New Years!
